To say "are" in Jamaican the word "ah" is often used. We'll give some examples of the word "ah" being used.
In Jamaican dialect "ah" means "are."

Dem ah guh guh - They are going to go ("ah guh" means "are going" or "are going to").

To say "am" (as in I am) the word "ah" is also used.
